撇開社會形態為兩性預設的責任、刻板印象和身份期望後，男女性的分別只剩下了與生俱來的生育功能，就似鎖跟匙「進入」與「被進入」的既定關係，因此以兩者分別對應「男性」及「女性」。
雕塑造型參考了水星符號，是雌雄同體或指性別流動符號的形狀。符號的上方為月亮，中間為圓形，下方則為十字形。在占星學上，月亮代表靈魂，圓形代表精神，而十字代表物質，與人的「靈」、「魂」、「體」三個存在本質的概念相通。
人從物質世界死亡後，構成身體的能量與精神從肉身軀殼中掙脫，轉化成擺脫了性別枷鎖的靈魂。

Setting aside societal expectations of responsibilities, stereotypes, and identity assumptions for the two genders, the only difference between male and female lies in their inherent reproductive functions. This is akin to the established relationship between a lock and a key-" to enter"and "to be entered"-thus corresponding to "male"and "female."
The design of the sculpture references the symbol for Mercury, which represents androgyny or gender fluidity. The symbol features a moon at the top, a circle in the middle, and a cross at the bottom. In astrology, the moon represents the soul, the circle represents the spirit, and the cross represents the material possessions, resonating with the concept of the three aspects of human existence: "soul," "mind,
"and "body."
Upon death, the energy and spirit that constitute the body break free from the physical shell, transforming into a soul that has shed the shackles of gender.
